Environment Management

TIVIT’s environment management services stand out because the company understands how critical IT services are to our clients’ businesses. The environments can be hosted in TIVIT’s Data Centers, in the client’s own data center or even in a third-party’s. Due to our wide experience in mission critical operations, we have adopted a pro-active and transparent approach, focused on failure prevention, availability increase and guarantee of application performance. We combine our experts’ technical knowledge on the most relevant subjects and technologies with market best practices in IT service management, always in adherence to each one of our clients’ reality and requirements.

By using an integrated occurrence monitoring framework, we focus on tracking and treating incidents, aiming at minimizing the impact in the clients’ environment, IT applications and services. We also rely on specific automations which, given there was a trigger previously configured, will shoot the execution of commands or specific routines in order to restore faulty services.

Management and support of operating systems, database, middleware and commercial applications, both in client-server architecture and web applications. We design and operate open platform environments, focused on optimizing resources, availability and operational predictability.

Management, operation and support of high platform environments, from console operation, LPAR parameterization and configuration, operational systems, databases, to the application layer. We specifically focus on routine automations, processing optimization (MIPS), management of performance, capacity and integration with low platform environments.

Storage Management

With a lifecycle management approach, we seek to design an integrated data storage, protection, and replication solution.The ultimate goal remains to minimize the impact on our customers’ business.

Aimed at ensuring service levels in line with application performance requirements, as well as providing alterations in the architecture of the solution, so as to adequate the environment to such requirements.

The main goal is to guarantee data recovery in case of logical or physical failure in the infrastructure layer, or functional or operational failure in the application level. Therefore, besides ensuring the execution of backup routines, it is fundamental to carry out periodical data restoration and recovery tests.

As a complement to the protection solutions, TIVIT also designs and operates data replication solutions, among TIVIT’s Data Centers, the client’s own data centers or even a third-party’s. In many cases, it can be an alternative to the traditional offsite tape vaulting. Among the technologies managed by TIVIT, there are: replication via external storage, via hypervisor, operational system or via database.

Network Management

Network and connectivity management brings to our customers services that provide robustness and ease of connection to the IT environments hosted in our Data Centers. Whether it’s managing your own links or relying on the capabilities of our data backbone, our solutions provide high network availability, support for complex topologies, geographic redundancy, and scalability in data communications consumption.

Provides complete management of our customers’ data circuits, from installation follow-up and acceptance of facilities, to the activation and monitoring of telecommunications operators. We have local technical support, both in our Data Centers and remote locations, guaranteeing efficiency in the operators’ interventions. Through our integrated monitoring service, we monitor several indicators of quality and availability, which in addition to allowing proactive action on network instability events, allows us to analyze traffic, identifying offenders of bandwidth consumption and contributing to an effective Optimization of resources through a robust process of capacity management and performance.

Services of deployment and support of LAN networks and their various components, fundamental in IT projects. Together, we define the logical design of the LAN, geared towards the Data Center or remote locations, physically and logically specify and deploy the devices and perform the management of this infrastructure. Our proactive network monitoring process ensures appropriate support for devices such as switches, routers, load balancers, access points, including software upgrades, always performed by a specialized technical team.

Our Data Centers rely on all connectivity infrastructure for the installation of data and voice circuits of our customers, offering redundant and independent points of presence among the main telecommunication operators, thus allowing high levels of protection to long-distance network solutions Distance (WAN). Another important connectivity feature is our data backbone, capable of providing data transmission capacity between all our Data Center and also Internet access. Operated directly by our experts, it is made up of high speed data links and different operators, giving a high level of availability and agility to projects that include the use of multiple Data Centers.

IT Governance

IT Governance We believe that a specific and customized governance model to fully meet our customers’ expectations is critical to the success of IT infrastructure management. To meet these requirements, TIVIT uses best market practices, such as ITIL and CoBIT, but always adapting processes, controls and decision-making rights to the reality of each client.

The delivery of IT services must be perfectly aligned with a governance model. For this, we use the ITIL methodology, without forgetting the particularities of each client and making the necessary adjustments in our processes. In addition to the ITIL processes for Requests, Incidents, Problems and Changes Management, TIVIT has implemented a specific process for Crisis Management. The event initiating a crisis is the occurrence of any and all unavailability of a Critical Business Environment (ACN), or even a partial unavailability, as long as it relates to a high financial impact or damage to the client’s image.

In view of the criticality of some environments and applications for our customers, TIVIT develops a complete service for the implementation and operation of the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP), always acting in an aligned and joint way to our customers. Taking into account the criticality of the application and the impact that its unavailability may cause to the client’s business, it is mandatory to perform periodic disaster recovery tests. It is tried to simulate the processes and procedures defined in the plan and, mainly, to verify if the RPO and RTO metrics are being met.

Is a service that TIVIT provides to customers for the management of IT services (ITSM). It is a multi-enterprise solution with segregation of access for various levels (company, location, access profiles). Fully compliant with ITIL V3 and ISO 20,000. User access is differentiated according to their access profiles.
